I think most of the megos have pretty much peaked back in the day. They seem to stay about the same price or come down. If it is the toy you want, get it, but I wouldn't expect it to go up. If it does, frosting on the cake.

^ we have a marketplace section for buying and selling. You would do better to place a wanted post there. Good luck, and welcome to the Museum!

Buy a loose Spiderman to sit on your computer .... the rest invest in gold

Maybe for loose and boxed to a degree, but you really can't go wrong purchasing a US carded figure other than Mr. Mxyzptlk or The Hulk. Check some recent auctions on Ebay. Despite what you see (or don't see) here there are more people that want them then are available for sale.

Guaranteed they went for more 5 -7 years ago. Like most things except one of a kind things like valuable art or some such thing. With toys, people generally hit an age where two things happen, one the start to earn more, and two, start to have fond memories. It happens with each generation. That is why things like tmnt are starting to increase more now. That generation is starting to make more and has money to by things that they could not before. Then after some time, many loose interest and move on and either sell or stop buying.

don't buy toys for investment value, buy because you love it. if you are buying solely for investment purposes you will lose out in the end
