I'm actually considering Mega-Con next March. I've been told it's bigger and better than FX. I've missed going to FX and hope this will be a good substitution. I hope to make it.

It is bigger, and each year gets bigger. I still thought the early years at the fx was the best. More toys than anything. Megacon has a lot of comics and other stuff. The toys last year at megacon were equalivent to what was at fx the year castaway was set up. Still pretty fun. The costumes get crazier every year, almost makes it worth going just for the sights.

The show here in Orlando was a Mego bust.

I must ask Mr. Cornelius, did you wear any mego bling to inform people of your collecting interest?

I will admit I've walked into more than one established comic book store and have the guy behind the counter look stumped when I show them an actual mego figure (!). Comic book shows are worth one peek so good on you for doing that.

Do me a favor and get up and early and go to that scuzzy, sad looking flea market I believe that is near you. And put a dirty ape in your shirt pocket. Mego gold awaits!
