Any good vintage toy stores in downtown Los Angeles?

I am stuck in Downtown LA for a few days and may have some time.

    Tom,
    not in downtown.

If you have a car and can travel, there are a few in Buena Park (near Anaheim/Disney)
and a couple of crapshoot antique stores in Pomona.

None of the comic shops in LA really have much vintage to speak of.
Meltdown has (had?) some vintage, but the prices are ridiculous to insane.

You might also try Blast from the Past in Burbank, or Big Kids Toys in Sherman Oaks,
but again price/selection will leave you disappointed.

If you're still in town this weekend, you can roll the dice on the Pasadena City College Flea Market ( free )

    good luck,

Big Lou in Culver City has stuff but you have to ask him in advance to bring in to the shop. He mostly has statues and car stuff in the shop 24/7
