Too nice to flip..

In an effort to gain funds to add to Mego collection more than a couple of times a year, I've joined the time honored tradition of flipping. I came across a Robin with a blurry photo on Ebay. It caught my eye because even with the blurry photo it looked nice and wouldn't much to complete. Price was low too of course. I was shocked at how nice when I got it and completed. The picture doesn't even do it justice. I've never seen sleeves/shorts that rich shade of green unless it had never been opened. I decided it was too nice to flip and in place of it took my existing t2 Robin out of it's box (which was piecemealed anyway) and replaced it with this one. I put together a before and after showing what it looked like on Ebay and an equilivlant picture with better photography after I completed the figure.

As I get closer to completing my loose Mego collection, a certain theme continues to rear its head; that of, as you said, "peacemealed". Thinking about it, probably 90-95% of my complete figures are peacemealed. But complete all original is complete all original, peacemealed or not. Works for me. That's a sweet looking Robin for sure....

It's hard to sell a nice Robin.
