OK - I know the MM gets a kickback from ebay and Amazon for having links on the page.
BUT - most of us have saved searches and whatnot on our ebay profiles and we are not going to get an 'aha' moment from the listings that show on an ebay popup ad. Again, I know the MM benefits from the ad. All I want to know is if it is possible to place the ad at the bottom of the page, rather than in the header. If anyone truly wants to use the popup as a searcher for them, it will be there and they will know where to look for it. For the rest of us - we can have the beauty of your header design uncluttered with the likes of an ebay search ad.
edit - the ad thing seems to be coming and going. I suspect you are figuring out where and how you want that to interact with this new software. Just wanted to add that I appreciate you guys doing the upgrade and trying to make things work with what we users are happy with while also making the cogs fit and the grease slip. One of the things I first noted with the upgrade was a big chunk of no ad in the header and I am just hoping it can stay that way.Last edited by rche; Jun 20, '12, 6:17 PM.Comment

I have a lil suggestion for the museum
The gallery link above the forum should take us here .......
The gallery map covers everything
the drop down boxes are confusing for a newbee looking for a more obscure lines.
i love the gallery map page and hate to see it kinda hidden
and thanks for everything so farLast edited by Mikey; Jun 20, '12, 6:44 PM.Comment

Forgot one thing is Amazon.com ad that always keep jumping on my page while I clicking this MM pages and I noticed on the bottom left corner says "waiting for Amazon.com" connection then I scanning the Super Anti Spyware Professional till 15 mins and it said that from Amazon.com has a virus in my hard drive and computer system many times, the Super Anti Spyware removing the Amazon.com off for me but the Amazon.com always kept jumping on again.......... How can I do??
Edited - I'm glad the Amazon.com ad is gone above this MM, hope it's not coming back again!Last edited by Mr Mego; Jun 20, '12, 6:53 PM.Comment

Instead of ads we could just charge a membership fee.
Yes, the Amazon ad will be back, and no it won't take up half the screen.--

FYI, everything we are doing right now is a work in progress. If you see something that doesn't look right or that you don't like, don't assume it's permanent.--

Yes, I was testing the ad system for all of two minutes. You are fast, Quick Draw.
Some things are more open for discussion than others... We're not in a hurry to clutter the place up with useless crap, but you know, we gotta do what we gotta do, . We're still working out what we can do versus what we want to do versus what we need to do.This profile is no longer active.Comment

As far as the Gallery Map--that's a whole other thread. What I'm dealing with right now is the fact that that map and the galleries as a whole are not compatible with mobile devices, which is why those links are going where they go. Hopefully I can get it running so there's a mobile version and a desktop version....This profile is no longer active.Comment

I dunno, folks. Seems to me that if you ever wanna get bare bones that you just turn on mobile and chill out. I say that we just sit back and let the wizards do what they think is best and then have some constructive talk later. Social Networking and all that jazz is just where things are, and at a certain point it's necessary to upgrade software to keep up with the hardware. . . so whatever will be will be. Now just 'friend me' or I'll block you from my blog, YouTwitFace! LOLLast edited by sauce; Jun 20, '12, 9:12 PM.Comment

understood and that is what I addressed in my edit. I also understand that this is an extremely openminded board when it comes to community input and that is what I am offering. I know that my suggestions can either be accepted or ignored and I am fine with either. I do appreciate the ability to voice my opinion.Comment
