    Megos are heavy

I stumbled upon this photo while fooling around today, if I recall the late Mike Haspiel was involved. Wish I had one...

It's a poster for L7. The thread title is a clever homage to one of their albums.</humblebrag>

It kind of dawned on me after that it might be an obscure reference seeing as they broke up 12 years ago. I need new records.

I was into L7 in a big way back in the day. I think I've seen this poster before, it's looks familiar, but it's still cool.

Fantastic poster, I've never seen that before!

I put on an L7 live show in a previous career and they were some crazy fun ladies I reckon I've got a signed poster (not that one sadly) in the shed somewhere.

Don't feel bad Brian. I have am totally clueless on new artists...unless they are Radio Disney stars.

This photo is from my house. I have this poster. It was created by Jim McNeer a local comic collector/artist here in Des Moines, IA. I'm not sure if there are more of these posters left over. I'll ask him. This one was Mike's. Mike and Jim were good friends and Mike definitely helped with the MEGO connection for the design of this poster. Other local friends owned the bar/club called Hairy Mary's where L7 played and where Mike worked. Mike was one of my best friends and I miss him.
