Broken Handle on Star Trek Enterprise Playset

So, I recently purchased the Diamond reproduction of the Star Trek Enterprise Playset, and within a week the carrying case handle snapped in two. (This was due to my own fault, since I set a box on top of it.) Is this a piece that is easy to replace? It looks like it could be a standard plastic box handle, but I'm not sure if it was a piece specifically created for this set. Any suggestion on how to replace the part without buying a new set?

If you want to make it look vintage put some masking tape on it to hold it together

At this rate with my handling of it, we'll be there in no time.

It is a very standard handle. I use them on Dida Displays.

One of my wife's two vintage Bridge sets had a broken handle, and I found a similar one on a cardboard computer monitor box in my workplace's recycling bin. So I pulled it off and used it on her's.
