I’ve already made a few posts but neglected to give an introduction.
My name is Michael and I’m from California. Over the past year, I’ve periodically been reading the various posts on this cool website. I figured it was time to join in the Mego Talk.
I am a collector of a variety of toys so my collection is quite eclectic. I have Garfield plush figures and toys from the 80s, beanie babies from the 90s, Kinder Surprise toys from early 90s to recent years. I collect fast food and cereal premiums of interests. I also collect Japanese Shokugan (candy toys) and Gashapon (capsule toy) figures. I’m always mindful of how much and what I could collect in my San Francisco apartment living which doesn’t provide much space.
Currently, I do not have any Mego toy figures. I must admit I didn’t grow up with these cool toys and was only made aware of them through the Mego Museum promotional trading cards. I hope to eventually build a collection of the Star Trek figures and go from there.
Besides toys, I collect non-sport trading cards with special interest in Star Trek autograph cards. I have a small collection of Mego Museum trading cards and look forward to expanding my collection.
Peace,
Michael
