That's awesome!
As a child, a friend and I would - for some reason - throw his Megos on his grandmother's roof. She'd just buy him new ones to replace them! Recently, I moved just a few miles from where that house is. Have playfully entertained the thought of doing some reconnaissance to see if any were still stuck in the gutters, but I do honestly realize that they were cleaned out some time ago - but it's still a fun thought though!

Fabulous story Len. I think restoring him is part of the story. You will always know his origin and you got the before pics.Leave a comment:

That's really great! As a girl, I never buried any of my toys. Maybe it's a boy thing. (of course the fact that I lived in NYC and there was no place to bury them is beside the point). There is no more childhood home in my family, (or in my case apartment), so none of my past will be "unearthed".
Be sure and post pics when Drac is ready to walk the night again.Leave a comment:

that is great to be reunited. I would be torn between restoring him, or presenting him in a coffin as is. It looks super creepy and great just like that.
The eyes glow, but did they have any melt issues underground all these years?Leave a comment:

That is awesome. I still remember burying my Klingon as a kid for one night in the rain and to this day his face looks dirty. LOL
I can't wait to see him rebuilt....faster, stronger.Leave a comment:

Why did so many of us bury our Megos????? I remember doing it all the time. I'd leave 'em in the ground overnight, but usually dig them up the following day.Leave a comment:

Actually, I think don't restore it. Clean the remaining pieces then put them in a case. The story of the burial is so good, that by restoring it you'll kinda lose the memory in a way. Just my opinionLeave a comment:
