Christmas 1974 photo found

Last week my brother gave me a CD of old family photos.
I finally got a chance to look at it today and found a picture
of Christmas morning 1974 with me in brown plaid pajamas
and a newly opened Batcave at my feet.

My brother Jeff is standing behind me holding a new boxed
Batman and I think I can see an Addar POTA model too.

New stereos never sound as good as them

That's no stereo - that's the radiator! The picture is the interior front
porch of my grandfather's house. We moved there in 1973 when my
grandmother died and he was not able to live alone.

He used to light the filter end of the cigarette, so my mother bought
me a Bic lighter to light them for him. I would be playing with my
megos and he would put a cigarette to his lips and wait for me to
light it.

One day I came home from school and he was waiting for a light.
I wonder how long he was waiting?
