Hello! Names Bryan and I stumbled upon this site while looking up a bank my aunt passed down to me years ago. I now know it as a Mego Penguin super saver bank!
Now I'm interested in collecting mego toys, but unfortunately am not at all knowledgeable on the subject. Hope to learn a lot more from the site and add to my collection!Leave a comment:

Hey! I'm Tyler (pizzatrash if you prefer!), and I'm stoked to join a community about Mego, seeing as it's my new love. I have been into collecting toys for some time now, and I have primarily been collecting contemporary and vintage japanese vinyl (kaiju), but now have come into collecting mego!
Stoked on learning a ton of stuff from you guys, as I'm not well versed in the world of mego by any means!
Thanks and hello!Leave a comment:

Hey everyone!!
First post here. Loving the Mego and PS sites. Fave Megos are Superman and Spider-Man (the Mego Museum homage to their team-up is classic), Apes and Star Trek. I still have my original Treks.

Hi Everyone! I have heard of these guys for a while, but really knew nothing about them at all. About a month ago at a toy and train show i picked up a '74 Superman in amazing shape! Then I found a Batman on eBay who needed some parts--which I then discovered Dr. Mego! So I ordered the parts and after many $$$ I got that along with a Dr. Manhattan (Watchmen) parts to make a custom. I have already finished him and will upload in the proper section.
Now I am trying to make a few Bono's from U2---Zoo TV era and am a bit stuck. I ordered a few parts, bodies and a few heads that looked like the closest I could find from Classic TV Toys---not happy with the quality at alll!!! Should have stuck to Dr. Mego! So after this long story to nowhere, I am wondering what tips people have for me in creating good customs, and most importantly, making a good head--not a fan of those rubber heads. The ones from Classic TV Toys are so brittle that they have holes and are flaking apart...booo!
Well thanks for having me here and I look forward to chatting with everyone!Leave a comment:
