    Megos On TV Shows

With the recent appearance of Mego Mr.Spock on The Big Bang theory, I can think of at least two other appearances of Megos on tv shows. 1) Storage Wars-I think Season 1 Jarrod and Brandi buy a locker that has alot of vintage toys and upon looking through them, yep they find mint original in box and carded Mego figures that appear to have been graded as they were in plastic protective holders.Among the Megos were Thor(Brandi's favorite) and diamond logo Spidey, The Lizard, and Wizard of Oz Megos. Appraiser gave a value of around $3000 for just the Megos alone.
2)Comic Book Men(I think on first episode, maybe second) they went to a yard sale and one of the guys found several Megos, Kirk Spock, Spider Man, and i think a couple of others. I think they paid $5 a piece for them. What a find, not to mention a ton of old comics, 12 cents and such. Why couldn't I ever find a good lot like these? Lol.

Haven't seen them or missed them. I remember and episode of Happy Days where a witch put a curse on Fonzie and she had a Fonzie doll, pretty sure it was a Mego. Thanks for the info.

The Pawn Stars was just on yesterday during a marathon. The guy had Megos among his Star Trek collection. American Pickers has had various ones on. There might have been ones on last night with the robot guy.

Not TV, but in the movie "Pursuit of Happiness" Will Smith's character's son had a Captain America.

How could we forget Robot Chicken, which always uses Megos. I do remember the guy on Pawn Stars with the Star Trek collection.

The 40-year-old Virgin had a Mego Aquaman.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.
