Just got this guy in the mail - that's right, an original MENUDO ROY!!
...Oh, and he's modelling an AE Dick Grayson shirt, which is tooootaaaallllly legit!!!

I mean, unless this is a some magical Candi Fashion Doll top that we've all missed, it's an original AE shirt.
Couple of things I noticed;
1) The brown of the collar is much more burgundy than I'd previously thought. I had always assumed it matched the color like it matches the waffle weave of the Davy Crockett pants (seen here on T1 WIP Robin). It's hard to see in the photos because of the color shift and lighting, but I was surprised to see it was actually closer to the Blackbeard pirate pant/jacket color.
2) The thread... the tie-offs, or more accurately the cut-offs of the factory stitching are super long! There's a lot of loose thread end chilling on this guy.
The thing that sold the authenticity for me was that the stitching up the back (through the snaps and collar) is 100% consistent with the shoulder, side, and bottom stitching and is unbroken. The interior had a remnant of a paper label (just a nub in the fold though, not a full name - would have been really interesting to see if it was Mego or Maddie Mod) which in any case showed it was most likely vintage origin and not a re-sew.
Now who has a RM Robin head, AE pants and AE jacket for me? I have a floppy plastic record with a special message from Roy to trade for them
