Was there a spike in sales for the Mego Spock this week?
Prior to the announcement of his appearance, doesn't look like Vintage carded Spock sold for much above $50. Wonder if there was a small surge in other vintage Trek Mego.
Not true, one sold just one day before the episode aired.
One would figure the seller is kicking themselves for not procrastinating a couple of more days, where millions of people would watch a 30 minute commercial for the item they sold for peanuts....
The transporter is one of my favourite Mego trek pieces, simple, fun and it has a great box.
Yeah, that's very interesting! I wish I find another one in the hidden Auction someday.
I have a regular transporter that looks good, I had it's original payset that have been worn out all vinyl edges.... I removed the transporter to kept it and threw away the worn out playset.
I always wonder if the sale of Chinese takeout goes up during that show. I know I always get hungry for dumpings and fried rice, etc when watching those guys.

He's so plentiful, I'm sure it's a temporary spike... At least until (god forbid) Nimoy eventually passes away. In the meanwhile, it's nice to see Mego love in the mainstream. Here's hoping Toy Hunters will be covering mego somehow in their upcoming debut season.

that would be cool Doc. At the very least, they might show up in the background in either the apartment, one of the bedrooms, or the comic shop. I'm sure that's how the non DC stuff like Hellboy probably ends up on the show.
