TWO boxed Palitoy transporters on Big Bang Theory

Finding one mint boxed is hard enough. It makes me wonder if one or both are recreated props

I got the whole joke about toy nerds not wanting to open the package, but it's kind of ironic they chose that Transporter, there's no harm whatsoever in opening that box.

The packaging looks a little too mint to be actual vintage...

It must be an EMCE figure with a real Mego shirt. That insignia is the smaller Mego version.

Actually the emblem is what I really thought stuck out to me as an EMCE Spock.

The EMCE Spock had silver sleeve bands. So this would be EMCE Spock 2.0 with the corrected gold sleeve bands? Those were actually produced and shipped, right? I can't remember..

Watching the video clips I definitely thought this was a Mego Spock.

EDIT: Looking thru the EMCE archives, I see that Spock 2.0 with gold bands was indeed produced and spotted mostly at Blockbuster Video stores..

It was a fun episode. I did hear Jim Parsons pronounce "Mee-go" correctly, so kudos to them!
                          It's all good!
