i just got me batman mego off ebay, I did some research before i bought it and i used the mego museum web site for reference, im wondering if theres a way to tell the exact year/issue of this particular mego doll or what the head /body stamps indicate.. the back of the head(molded cowl NOT removeable) has the NPP 1972 head stamp and the body (plastic joints) has Copyright mego roman numeral 1972 hong kong on the back.(hong Kong?) unfortunately mego museum accessory check doesnt indicate what any of this means or if this is original or what. ive compared everything else on mego accessory check gloves, head boots clothing emblem all look to be original mego. this is weird to me cuz far as i know megos didnt come out till 73 and the molded cowl wasnt till later...

I'm not knowledgeable enough but the emblem might be a give away. If it is real then it would be a later issued Batman as they used the cloth emblems towards the end of production. But i'm sure someone here can verify it better than i can. We have some experts. I'm just a big fan. Maybe you can take some pictures as well. -
there are people who know more then me,but if its got plastic joints its type 2 body that, came out in 1974,and by 75 most if not all batmans were this type, and ran till 1982
or 83,if it has blues trunks its probably 75-76 ,if its got flesh trunks its a bit later,a picture
would help even more on gloves embelm, boots belt ,but all heads are dated 1972.Comment
