    Another month has passed and that means the Mego Museum spotlight moves to a new*candidate**in *the community. This month we “Go Ape” (Sorry, I am bound by law to make that pun at every possible occasion) and sit down with Kraig to chat to him about his collecting philosophy*and what brings him joy.   Museum Handle: piecemaker Real Name: Kraig Where do you hail from? Illinois   How did you find the Mego Museum? I did a search on Ebay one day looking for my long lost “Planet of the Apes guys”. The first being, my Soldier Ape. I eventually found him and discovered he was made by MEGO. When i was a kid i never paid no attention to what company actually made the toys, I just wanted them, lol. I did a search for just MEGO on Ebay and also discovered a whole universe of completely unknown to me as a kid, MEGO figures. I wanted to learn more and did a web search for MEGO and that’s how I found the Mego Museum.   What inspired you to join the forum? I love this section. It's very interesting hearing how people stumbled onto the Museum. Has anyone noticed that the favorite Mego line for most of the Megoheads of the month has been POTA... The mods here really know what the BEST Mego line was based on their choices for this section!!

Glad you got POTA with variations and other Megos off ebay, congrats!

I saw them but I already have a complete NM Silver Soldier and Burgundy Soldier Apes.

Will finding 5 more variations is the Maroon Cuffed General Ursus/Soldier, Lizard with gloves, Black Cuffed General Ursus/Soldier, Brown Cornelius and Zira to finished complete my Mego POTA line............
