Do you suppose it is left over mego stack ape head or a mold?

These are a KO line called Combo Warriors or Combo. I have several carded. They apparently used the head from Corny and re-molded him. They have a few characters with the same body from the "Action Figures" line. The series was called "Action Figures" lol

They actually look kinda cool. I wonder how hard those heads are to attach to those bodies? Anyone try using a mego head on these kinds of bodies?

Kind of neat to think that the old Mego tooling might exist somewhere and is mixed and matched with other old tooling to create these combo dollar store things.
