As long as there is retailer interest. We are already starting to wrap
our brains around the next two monsters. Creature and Bride will be
available at retail by August-September.

Definitely getting the Creature and the Bride - been waiting for these ever since I started collecting the retro monsters.

If it's OK to ask, how long will Diamond release Retro Monsters? Can we expect more EMCE related goodness for a few more years to come?

Anyone else want to see a slightly different face for Kirk? Even "angry" eyebrows would differentiate him from the good Kirk without requiring a new head sculpt.

I'd like to see the Phantom and Mr Hyde personally. The Karloff version they are doing for the 7" figures looks fantastic.

Would the Metaluna be considered for the line? I'm not sure if that falls under Universal, basically, I would like to buy a Metaluna retro figure.

Also want to see some Mole Men and a Quasimoto is a must.

The problem with those two as I see it is likeness, Colin Clive doesn't appear to have any heirs but Universal is leery of using his likeness on anything.

Lugosi on the other hand does have an heir and he is a lawyer. That's why the DST Dracula looked like "Vampire Shazam".

Then I think we should make it the primary purpose of the Mego Museum to secure the likeness of Mr Clive for all future generations of megoheads to enjoy.

Or, like the Drac you mentioned. Use a cool but generic sculpt and make some fantastic cloth goods and pack ins.

I just cant stop looking at the new Creature & Bride..... When I get a few minutes away at work, I open up the museum site on my phone & just stare at them. After work, at home, I have the museum website open on the laptop, and come back to the shot of them both, and the 360 degree shots every half hour or so... They're just so stunning..... I know its silly, but I'm holding my other EMCE Monsters up against the screen to see what they're gonna look like all together... I just can't wait to get them. They're SIX MONTHS away, but I'll go out on a limb & say that the Creature is my favorite re-Mego figure...Of ANY line..... I hope it doesn't change much from this proto-type. I really dig the DIFFERENT shades of green on him. If I don't shut up now, I'll just ramble on all evening......
