The female Twilight Zone figure coming out this summer has a Fembot-ish face. I was thinking about making a custom Bionic fembot with it. Now I won't have to.

...clear-plastic lower legs and forearm with "bionic" details, plus a sound-effect chip that's activated when his arms or legs are moved...
With every BBP 1/9 figure I own--apart from Ming, which was pulled off perfectly--I really have a nit to pick, no matter how much I like the figure over all. But this really is great to hear--I can tell a lot of thought has went into these guys. They sound phenomenal, and I can't wait to see pics of Steve.

Wow! Clear parts, sound chips... amazing!! Way to raise the bar, BBP!!!

I don't think any other company would have taken it that far. You've made this old Bionic fan very, very happy.

Edit: With sound effects and special accessories like Oscar's exploding briefcase, these are SO PREORDERED!!! Less than $20 for a Mego with all those features?! Great deal, as far as I'm concerned.

            The hair...
Your SMDM collection is incomplete without your very own Fembot Action Figure. This female-robot facsimile features a dress, scarf, belt, high-heeled shoes, rooted hair, and an unforgettable face that's to die for. On second thought, maybe not!

If this keeps up, my knockoffs are going to have to relinquish their shelf space in favor of new mego. I'm out of space!

Oscar's brief case takes me back.

These are sounding SO PERFECT to me!
I can not wait to see the prototypes... and finished products... when they come out!
And to think I was toying with the idea of rebuilding my old Kenner collection. HECK, I'll just go the 8" way!
Wait a sec... is that a 'bendable' steel pipe I see with Steve Austin? COOL!

As excited as I am for these, I'm having mixed emotions about the sound chip feature. As cool as this is, it sorta takes away from making your own sound effects as you played w/ these, (esp. if you're giving them to a child). I mean, who among us hasn't provided the Danananananana sound as Steve jumped over a wall or knocked out a bad guy. I dunno...just a thought.

                        Very cool !!!

It would be neat to see another likeness other than Jaime on the Fembot --- Like Callahan

Too Cool! I had hoped the legs and arm could be clear with bionics inside. SWEET!!!!! The bionic chip though is just kick arse!! Love it! Absolutely love it! Great job BBP! An absolute grand slam!
