The Mego Museum is proud to present the 2011 Kubby Awards! Named for the late Neil Kublan, beloved Mego Executive and dear friend of the Museum, these awards honor the best in Remego Toys for 2011. Best Villain for 2011 Speaking of Star Trek, the Salt Vampire was your choice for best baddie this year followed by the DCU’s top hunger dog Darkseid, in third place was the really neat Phantom Limb by Bif Bang Pow!. *
Best likeness was a tough call but EMCE/Diamond Select’s Boris Karloff as the Mummy won out, creeping in at a close second was ZICA’s Buck Rogers and rounding out is Bif Bang Pow’s Henry Bemis from Twilight Zone. [...]
