Very uncool to start a thread about this. Like everyone said, no one is forcing you to buy. And everyone is entitled to sell their stuff for whatever they want. He took the risk buying it on ebay and hoping he got what he expected. Like I said, it was VERY uncool to start a thread about this and ask for sympathy.

Just want to add to what has already been said. Do get to know the community. Most of the stuff i give great deals on are things i stumble on that i know someone was looking for. I have given away tons of little items to members over the past few years.

If I'm paying what I think is a fair price ( or even getting a good deal ) then it doesn't matter how much the seller originally got it for and how much profit he's making. Not cool trying to get you to lower you price after commiting to buy it - if you want to haggle on the price do it before you say you'll take it.

I've got a complete all original RC Batman with box ( well worn box t1 window box ) that I've had since I was a kid in the early 1970's. If I were to sell that I'd ask more then the couple of dollars my parents paid for it new.

Just becuase someone buys an item for cheap does not empower the next buyer of the first buyer to believe that they should be sold the item at a good deal since the first buyer bought the item for cheap. Does that make sence?
