Look, you need to hang out, bring something to the table before expecting the deals that the rest of us get. Or conversely you could speed things along by repeatedly asking for an item or pming members incessantly.
I'm still undecided, I might buy that Wolfman for $50; you know, the established, in crowd price.

I'm so sure you'll get plenty of deals now with this heavy-handed, call-out approach...Way to go, grasshopper

also, just hypothetical, if someone buys something off e-bay at a good price intending to keep it, but needs some money, or don't want the piece in their collection anymore, they are going to try to get fair market value for the originally low priced item

If I get a good deal and buy something for like $20, why would I have to resell it somewhere else at $35, just because I had the good luck or the right skills to get it cheaper in the first place (if I know it's worth more)?
Most people here already sell stuff way cheaper than on Ebay. And sure, now and then they give a buddy or veteran member a better deal after negotiating a bit. You'll find that once you been here for a longer time, deals will come to you.
Give it time, stick around, and don't rush it...

Flipping has always been part of the comic book hobby as far as I've been collecting, perhaps less acceptable by some in the Mego community, but as some have said, you can always walk away.

Calling people out in an entitled fashion as you have done here is a great way to make sure nobody wants to deal with you.

If he wants 75 for it, that's what he wants, he doesn't owe you anything nor do you "deserve" a deal.

I imagine as much as 75% of us have found a great deal and sold it here for more, it's acceptable and completely fine. That's what toy collectors do, so you just called out a lot of us. Do we give each other better deals? Yep because we have gone and developed relationships.

Toys are a matter of the heart, I get it but you need to have more patience and maturity about this, just speaking my mind.

yes nothing wrong with anyone wanting to make extra $ on one of thier sale items... it is simple..you take it or leave it... like lots of collectables it how much your willing to pay for what you want ...how much you desire to have a certain item in your collection...

In THEORY communism worked. Practice? Not so much.

Supply/demand/free market will determine pricing. The inverse is often true as well around here where items are sold for less than the seller paid for them if no one is willing to purchase at the higher cost. Sometimes it's just all about being at the right place at the right time.

                        The rule is very simple:
                        • I can sell it for more
                        • I can sell it for less
                        • I can choose to give certain people a break
                        • I can choose not to give certain people breaks
                        • I can clean and restore it whole
                        • I can parse it out piece by piece

...I own it, therefore I can do whatever I want with it until someone buys it from me.

No one is obligated or forced to buy or sell anything to anyone.

It's a simple rule that has worked here for a very long time...and on eBay as well for that matter.

This is what AHI wolfman addiction will do to you man. Gives you a sense of warped entitlement. Come clean. Give up the addiction. You will be a better man for it.

                                Perfectly expressed.

Wanting something very badly, & right now, will usually cause you to make bad collecting/financial decisions. I speak from experience lol.

Just relax & enjoy your hobby. As to the commodity aspect of it, castigating other collectors will not help you build your collection. If they are over-priced, they will sit on their inventory, as in any other market.
