Collecting Goals for 2012

Figured I would start a thread where collectors could put what their goal for collecting in 2012 is. Is there a line, or special piece you plan to finally get this year? When you get to New Years Eve 2012 what do you want to see that you have acquired?

Here is my goal...I will amass a Soldier Ape Army like never seen before. I will use every available dollar I have buying Soldier Apes, complete, broken, just parts, doesn't matter. I will have my man cave wall to wall with soldiers. People will assume I have gone crazy, and my wife may have me committed, but at the end of 2012 I will sit back among the massive Army and smile.

This is the goal, realistically I would like to have a platoon of apes, maybe 30-40.

I will have completed my loose collection of WGSH/POTA & Star Trek. With my POTA I am also planning on amassing an army of Soldiers. Game on!

my plan is to upgrade some of my wgsh to minty figures,and plan on working on the Alter Egos and some of the other more costly wgsh`s.I also want to start on the lil ledys

I need 5 boxed WGSH to finish my boxed set. I'd like to get at least one in 2012.

Oh, yeah! I'll complete POTA and WGSH Batman in 2012

My regular POTA is finish complete but will get more variation Soldier Apes and Maroon General Ursus/Soldier Cuffed Ape and then will be complete T-1 Batman, Robin, Pengiun, Joker, Riddler, Batcave Playset, Batcopter and Batmobile will be great for new year 2012 for me!!

I hope to add the POTA accessories and playsets that I don't currently have to my collection. I'm also wanting to add some custom Ape figures and possibly some variations if you all don't beat me to them all!

Finish the Flash Gordon line off,just Flash and playset to get,some more WGSH.Going to try and get me some Knights and go for some carded figures.

My goal is to find at least one additional figure for my MIB collection of Lion Rock WWII soldiers.
Those were my favorite figures back in 1977. So 2012 is the 35th anniversary for me

Depending on how taxes go this year, I hope to get my first carded figure.

Being that my collecting style is just as goofy as I am, for 2012 my main focus (outside of my 3 grails that are a bit of a long shot) I am looking to acquire one example of every Lando Calrissian action figure released to date. Depending on how it goes I may go really wacky and strive for both a loose and carded collection.

Once the goal is met I will celebrate with a 40oz Colt 45 and a Billy Dee Williams movie marathon, starting with Brian's Song, followed by Tim Burton's Batman and then wrap it up with Empire and Jedi.

Seriously.

My goal would be not to go too crazy as I am pretty much out of space in the house. With Battlestar coming up and SMDM it will be difficult. The urge to create a Cylon army will be very strong if those guys come out in 2012

. . . . on the Mego front I would like to reacquire a Mystery Astronaut and I'm in need of a decent Captin America . . . .

Re-Mego, whatever Universal Monster offerings come our way, hopefully, creech! & Six Million Dollar Man. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if there were a Retro Action Matty collector offering or two.

However my real quest for 2012 will be to acquire the last of the Colorforms Aliens, that I need . . . . Astronautilus . . . he will be mine!
