Here's something for the POTA Mego fans to see!

This photo was taken of me at "Photo1" 22 years ago I was about to start junior high school I believe I was in 5th or 6th grade when I had this taken, I wanted to be my favorite ape and for Halloween (Adam was a Donald Duck! I swear he looked like Elton John! )
Look at what I have in my hand! It's the same one I still have in my collection! He's prolly my second favorite Mego figure EVER (besides Hulk of course) Enjoy the pic and remind me how much of a nerd I have always been!

Wow, that's pretty cool! Nothing like ape goodness! Seeing as how this was taken in the 80s, did your friends get what you were?

Oh yeah! I sang the praises of POTA back then, alot of people were Trek crazy in the mid to late 80's. But after going to school with me you knew what POTA was by golly! I'm a HUGE fan of Roddy McDowall, that hasn't changed one bit! Also, HardyGirl, I knew you would be the one to post first! Glad you like! My POTA Mego collection is something I'm very proud of. Now once again thanks to this forum I can say I rebuilt my old ones and finished my collection! Now I just need the gorilla variations and the playsets and I'm G.T.G.!

I do too! My Ma was cleaning out her room last night and found that, I was like, "I have to post this on the forum!"

Actually, both! It was a mask kit that came out in the 80's called "The Face", I wish I would have had better makeup, it came out too Gorilla for me, I wanted to be Corny, but instead I turned out a bit Ursus! I even had the chimp walk down and everything! Of course the older generation was blown away a kid was dressed up like that! See, I go for the costumes the parents will remember, not what the kids already know! I always have done that. Once I was Drac, E.T. and Darth Vader and that's about as mainstream as I went when I was a kid, rest of the time I was a ninja, Snake Plissken, a bat, a zombie cowboy (now THAT one was fun, ya know, come to think of it I've always been obsessed with zombies. Now that I've brought that up.) I have had some weird Ideas about what I have been for Halloween!
