How Do You Photograph Your Carded Megos ?

In the Museum galleries, I noticed many techniques for carded Mego photography.
I'm a side angle guy (because of camera flash on the bubble),
I'm impressed with the people who are able to photograph their carded Mego's from straight-on.--- something I could never figure how to do.
Are you using a scanner ?
Or is it direct sun light ?

    Either way....
Thought this would be an interesting thread for people who love to photograph their carded figures.

    Bright room light, no flash

      Really nice !!!

Everytime I use room light the photo's always come out too dark and yellow-ish.

I also forgot to add that I put my camera in close-up mode. My camera shows a flower icon in the window in this mode. All the above pictures were taken in this mode except the Batgirl picture, thats why it is slightly blurry.

As for lighting, I use my dining room table, so I do have four 60 watt bulbs overhead.
