Imagine your Mego has special powers....

Ok, not powers per se, but cool features, what would you want them to do? Would the Hulk have springs in his legs so that he can jump? Would Superman have a "hang-glide feature" cape so that he could appear to "fly"? Would Robin have a button in his palm, so when his fist hits it, he would exclaim, "Holy ____!"?

What "powers" would your Megos possess?
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

The power to transport me to planet of the apes as a female chimp. That would be swell.

None- One of the pure joys for me about Mego is there is no Kung Fu Grip, no "action" poses or features (besides the fist fighters which I never really got into), so it's all up to the kid to imagine.

^ Exactly! Imagination is a wonderful thing! It wasn't until years later, when Kenner's Super Powers line came out that I expected an action figure to "do something".

Interesting...I know these days that I don't think about those
                    kinda things...or want them...

But back when I was a kid? You kidding? All that stuff seemed uber-cool
and when I saw that "FLY AWAY ACTION" feature on those commercials
back in the day----you can bet it drove me crazy wanting to get one...
as did the spider web shooting Spider-Man, Fist Fighters, etc.

What kid DOESN'T want their action figure to have something extra...be it
an "action feature" or an accessory?
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix

I see your point. Nothing beats the imagination. I still enjoy a good game of pretend w/ my Apes, or Star Trek or Action Jackson.

Well to me all the 8 inch ACTION JACKSON, WGSH,POTA, STAR TREK, MAD MONSTERS have a very special power they remind me of a time when i didn't worry about a job, paying bills fixing the car. they take me back to a simpler time in the mid 70s when i was a kid
