Chris (antiquetiger) would be perfect for this based on his finds over the years.

That is is one heck of a resume right there!

I was also thinking of Matt (Megoat). He manages to find tons of cool things including non-toy stuff.
              WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

Haha, thanks Bill. I'm not sure what they mean by "amateur", though. I've been picking for a living for years now--don't know exactly what they're looking for. Hahahaha, maybe I'll give it a shot....

I think I would be good in certain areas...but I'm still learning. The guys on American Pickers have a lot more knowledge then I do. I can say there a re a few episodes that made me scratch my head. Like the one where they bought the Butcher Sleeve Beatles LP off of the guy for about a grand....and it was not in good shape at all. Also the episode where they bought the POTA lunchbox and I was screaming at the screen for them to get the Johnny Lightning lunch box behind the POTA.

Their eyes can't hope to see
                    The beauty that surrounds them
                    Isn't it a pity".

They approached a friend of mine about his vintage gas pump collection a couple of months back. He was referred from a guy he's "picked" from a number of times. Just wanted to stop and use him as a visual add on if they were to come back to this area. They've been here before and went to a flea market I go to occasionally. Not sure if it ever made the actual show or not. It's a real junk palace and I've had a number of big hits there, though nothing toy related. I think they're looking to add different stuff to keep the show interesting. You can only watch two guys dig through crap for so many seasons.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I was doing that when they passed up on the Micronaut stuff on another pick.
