Why are these going for so much? I paid $30 bucks for mine a year ago on Amazon.

Fascinating. I checked it out on Ebay too and found only one copy. It was selling for $133.00. But if you Google it, the book can be gotten for the price you paid at a variety of different sites. You just found the sellers trying to hit the lottery. They won't sell for that.

This book is costing as much as a nice mego toy. Will be interesting to see how far this book actually goes. I actually did business with the Benjamin Holcomb. Awesome guy to deal with.

I got VERY lucky about a 2 months ago and got a nice copy for $25.00 including shipping.

Exactly! I want one, but when I can get a really nice looking fig I need for my collection, it's hard to buy the book....But the book will be so helpful! I will have to break down and buy one at some point soon!

Wow, I hadn't noticed all the five star reviews on Amazon. But you can't get a better endorsement than this from John Bonavita himself "5 out of 5 stars GREATEST MEGO BOOK EVER (and I should know since I wrote one myself!)" Very cool!

It is a fantastic book! I don't know about $130.00 worth, but if you are a new collector to mego and want the complete breakdown with full complete pictures then spend the money for it!

I don't understand those prices either. I offered five, brand-new mint, signed copies on Amazon for $50.00 each, and sold them all out in one week. Today I offered another five copies at $75.00 apiece (I don't have many left), but if anyone on the boards wants a copy – signed or unsigned – for $50.00, please let me know.

It seems like an appropriate time to thank you once again for your effort, Ben. This book truly captures the spirit of one of my favorite things - Mego WGSH. The book sits proudly on my bookshelf as a physical representation of my fondest memories and happiest times from my childhood.
