    Cool Palitoy flyer.....Trek, Apes & Space 1999

    I purchased a Palitoy Star Trek game after I spotted this cool flyer inside it....

    It's not in the libraries as far as i'm aware so it's good to show it off for you all.....



    The box art grabbed me at first as it's very similar to the Mego Star Trek packaging, but was pleased to find the flyer inside.

      Cool pick up Paul and the flyer look's great,we had the same game when we were kids,i remember the little rubber monsters and the dilithium crystals you had to collect.

      Never stand behind a cow when it sneezes.

        Those dilithium crystals must be pretty strong stuff too - they have reacted with the plastic tray they sit in

        The instructions are like an essay. I can imagine getting very bored trying to figure them out.

          Oh dear and think i used to stick them on my tongue

          Its a good game,we used to play it for hours,i have the board and some of the cardboard figures somewhere,i have lost the rubber monsters,dilithium crystals and the orange thingys.

            I have the game but not the killer flier, it's awesome. That art ran in some UK comics as well..

              Yeah. I saw the comic art in the libraries. It lacks the Space 1999 section but you can tell they were produced around the same time.

                  What a great find! Nice one Paul and thanks for sharing it! I do remember seeing those in the UK comics at the time and bugging the hell out of my parents for Ape figures.
