This may be a better topic for the custom section, but since it's original Mego I'm wondering about, I posted here. Does anyone know of any kind of substance or chemical that I can apply to original Mego emblems so that they can adhere to their original cloths again? I don't want to damage the original Mego outfits. I have original Batman, Robin, Batgirl and Shazam emblems that aren't staying on their figure's chest very well. I have some repro decals that work, but I would rather use the originals. I'm thinking about some kind of substance that would maybe come in a small bottle or jar, that I could sort of paint onto the back of the emblems in a manor maybe similar to applying nail polish. Again, it can't harm the outfits. If anyone knows of something, I'd appreciate any direction. Thanks-

I have had success with what we know here in the UK as 'Pritt Stick'. You know the type of glue stick that you turn the bottom and the white glue rises. I just scrape the emblem across the glue rather than pushing the glue stick down on it. So far nothing has come off again, and as it's PVA based it doesn't have an adverse affect on the clothing."I should say I`m very much cleverer than any of the people who put me here. As a matter of fact, I could leave any time I wanted. It`s only a doll`s house after all. Anyway, I don`t mind. I like dolls" - The Mad Hatter, Arkham Asylum.Comment

CTC- by "permanent" do you mean that the emblems can no longer be removed after fabric glue is applied? If so, I may shy away from fabric glue. What I want is the most similar type of "sticky" substance as that which was originally used on Mego emblems... But your input IS helpful, so thanks....Galaxy ExplorerComment
