great pics ,classic story,i still got my megos ,and even though they were not lost for 30 years ,from time to time ill find something that was,great feeling,you sure took good care of them at the time you had them,most of my early figures were all beat to hell,my later ones look more like your pics,you have a special mom .i had to watch mine myself all these many many moons ago.my mom is special to,saved everything except our toys,had to do that myself.

Wow, that's really great. You're very fortunate to have a childhood home that your stuff was stored in. We moved from NYC to CA, and I had to give away or sell most of my beloved toys. Later some got tossed or lost. I do have a few left, but very few. It's great that you have your original toys and the memories that go w/ them.

That is an amazing collection. More so, as they are yours from your childhood. When I was a kid, I owned a few of the basics. Spiderman, Batman, Robin & Superman. I also remember owning the Werewolf. That's it. As I was born in 1971, I moved into Star Wars in 1978 pretty easily. Just awesome you found them!
