Gahhh! I can't throw anything away.

After dragging it around for years I finally opened up a Fighting Furies Conquistador outfit and put it on a figure. Very nice. Now for the last six months I've had the package lying around with it's cool retro illustrations and ocean/galleon backdrop and the little booklet. It's of no use and it's so in the way and I can't bring myself to just throw it out, I just keep moving it around from desk to bookshelf to table. I hate being a collector/hoarder, sometimes.

I know how you feel. I bought several AJ outfits from Cast-A-Way, opened them up and put them on figures for my son and I, and the packages (with inserts) are in the top of my closet. I just can't toss them.

Yeah, but I had an empty Mego Klingon card lying around for years and finally dumped it. Then a month or so later I saw one sold on eBay for $10!!!! It drove me nuts!

Anyway, be careful what you get rid of!

I feel ya. I've got empty Venture Bros cards, empty CTVT knight boxes, misc. empties even a couple of Menudo boxes. Seriously, Menudo... I was actually thinking about offering 'em up in the marketplace for free so long as someone wants to pay the shipping.

          So sad.

It's really very simple. On the day the garbage goes out, put the
item to be diposed of in a bag of kitchen garbage, then take the
            bag out to the can.

Make yourself throw out something every week until it becomes
            second nature.

I was saving busted open clamshells from stripping McCoys for
the bodies and clothes. I realized that I could not sell those
calmshells but it bothered me to throw them out. That's when
I started the kitchen garbage routine. Today I can throw them
            out right away.

I just found a nook for an empty RAH Green Arrow shipping box - I feel your pain. I go in spurts. Once I reach the breaking point, Goodwill and Toys for Tots are the beneficiaries of my hoarding habits.

I just cleaned out my attic about two weeks ago and threw away 15 garbage bags filled with packaging from various Marvel Legends, Batman, DC Direct and Toy Biz figures that I had accumulated over the past 17+ years. It was very liberating.

Rip em up!! Cut em up...hold them over the garbage can and destroy when the feeling to get rid of it rules...then there simply is no going back..

I rarely keep packaging. It usually goes straight to the recycle bin.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
