How would you spend $1000?

Heh, I'd probably buy something non mego like a whole bunch of Fisher Price Adventure People.

I was thinking almost this exact same thing when I came across your comment I'm getting more and more intrigued with collecting those darned Adventure People!


But keeping on the Mego subject, I would stick to loose figures if I had to start over again. I'd get-

Loose Spidey
Loose Batman
Loose Robin
Loose Conan
Loose Thor
Loose Iron Man
Loose Green Arrow
Loose Shazam
Loose Thing
Loose Lizard

Then if I had money left I'd buy the repro cards/boxes to display them in, until I could eventually afford to get the "real deal" and get the rest of the ones I'm missing.

I would use the $1000 to hunt good deals on vintage cards and toys, and then flip them several times over until the $1000 turns into $15,000. Might take years. Then I would go to Mark H and buy a carded Green Goblin.
