Type Two body.. Black/Blue "Underpants" mystery

Hi

I am puzzled with a mystery that I can't solve..

Some type two figures have black or blue colored underpants

What are the difference between them and if it affect value or not?

Let me know where they came from and if it was part of the late run or not

I think the black is from the dukes.the blue are from superheroes and other figures. there is no difference in value.I not 100% sure but think thats right

I've seen black on all CHiPs

It is just because if I ever plan to build more Megos type two figures from scratch.. I need to know which body and color goes to the right characters that's all

I have a Robin type two figure and his inner "under pant" is black.. I have a feeling it was the last run that was released with black instead of blue.. but again need the experts

As a kid, I had several superheroes with flesh color shorts and several with the dark blue. I still have my original Robin from the 70s and he has the dark blue shorts. My childhood Captain America has flesh colored shorts. It seemed to be luck of the draw. I've had many Dukes pass through with black shorts, but I've also had them with flesh color. I'm 99% sure that the black shorts were later issue only, but the dark blue shorts were around at least as far back as the mid-70s because my Robin was one of my first Megos.
