For the fact that the line was just announced and already there is a prototype I think is amazing. We have seen prototypes change from start to finish, so I am not worried. The belly does look a bit too much. The sculpt is fine to me. I'm sure the paint apps will change a bit.

Really awesome sculp. I am very pleased with it and am so pleased they went with the fur suit. Only thing wrong is the belly. This is the one thing I really would change on it. Also I hope the final product will have darker face paint. BBP thank you so much for showing this and getting us that much more excited for the SMDM line. Can't wait.

As a prototype this is pretty solid.
I like the sculpt. I hope the paint notes are paid attention to and adjusted.
I think the fur is fine.

Stuffs I'd change on the prototype:
Belly. Is that stuffing in the suit? Doesn't need that, please.
It also looks like the legs are lengthened? Is that my imagination? Either that or it's the stuffing in the stomach - which is throwing my inner sense of anatomy off a lot when I look at the prototype's arms because it's making them appear too short. Looks a bit Beatles Yellow Submarine Blue Meanie to me.

If it's made just like this, I'll buy one and pull the head off for a different body mod, because the sculpt is great. If it's made on a regular 8" stock body without LOST baby bump though, I don't think anyone will mind. My fingers are crossed for the arm/leg ratio to get fixed.

I actually think it's a great sculpt. The artist did a fantastic job with the sculpted hair and beard. I was watching some youtube clips of the Bigfoot episode, and the furry suit in the episode looks pretty close to the prototype.

The sculpt is fantastic, though the paint might need a tweak. This is exactly what I was hoping for---a great translation of the character as he actually appeared on screen rather than an attempt to recreate what Kenner did back in the Seventies. Can't wait to see Steve!

There should at least be some serious darkening of the upper eyelids. Having the eyebrows so distinctly visible makes him look too human. Even in the publicity photos you can see that the dark eye make-up blends right into the eyebrows, emphasizing those creepy white eyes.

The sculpt is nice, but the facial coloring is way off from what appears in the episodes. It may be close to the publicity photos posted here (the ones posed with Lee Majors), but for some reason, Andre was wearing much less make-up for that photo session--possibly for still-camera lighting reasons, or maybe they just wanted him more "recognizable" in the photos. I have dozens of still photos from the episodes, and Andre's make-up in the "publicity" portraits is much lighter than in the other "action" shots.

I tried to post a series of screen-grabs showing how much darker the make-up is, but they may not be appearing since I'm a new member. If someone else could post them, I can send them to you.

Head sculpt looks exactly like him but I agree with Scott.....a Hulk body would work better than a Penguin body.
