I was really psyched when I first saw this.

Thomas - I can't believe you parted with that guy!

My German is basic to the point of knowing nothing! What does the translation for the horse actually say?
Does anybody actually have one of these horses? Are they marked Mego, or do you think they are an outside addition to the existing line (a bit like the knockoff pirates)?
Super find regardless though. Fabulous pics.

            It says:
Special offer. This battery operated knight's horse can move forwards and backwards. Horse cover, saddle and bridle are removable. Suitable for all 8" figures. Length of horse: 11.2"

At the time I had no idea what this was, no one did, cause I asked. Everyone seemed to believe this was some knock-off. And I didn't collect pirates, so... At least I took pics, now you all know what the body looks like

I wonder if the Pirates were sold in two-packs as well?

So cool to see! Now if only someone could discover a warehouse find of Jousting Horses
                  It's all good!

                    Thanks Thomas.

I can only presume then, that it is the standard Mego battery opperated horse.

^^^^ the one in the catalog looks like a standard Black AJ Mustang

Late to the party but wow! That was not something I had really even thought of possibly existing. And Robin Hood as well? Makes me really start to wonder if packaging exists for the horse.

As incredible as this news is, it also somehow feels like a swift kick to the groin for someone who focuses on these lines.

Those Blackbeard pirate ripoffs are interesting as well. I wonder how the body compares to that Judah Maccabee figure that uses that head and that boot mold. Reminded me of that immediately.

Has one of these ever come up for sale?
