The last Flash Gordon box I bought also said there was a Ming the Merciless coming, this time it better not be a disgusting, filthy lie *cough gohero cough*!

I know this started with GoHero but the research for Ming must be daunting-the only colorized stuff was the serial posters and dvd cases right?

If the hat is removable, with the bald look, I really love the black collar on the red robe, his head totally *pops*.

Course, I'm buying it either way.

If someone out there is trying to decide between the bald look or the skullcap look, and that person is counting votes, I greatly prefer the skullcap. But, like Megazord Mike, will be buying either way.

          From the press release...
But that is not all…Cast-A-Way Toys & Go Hero are developing 1:6 and 1:9 versions of Charles Middleton as Ming the Merciless.

            Team up!

It occurs to me Zarkov wore Flash's outfit too. Azura's death squad uniform right? This is all really cool. I can't imagine you guys aren't thinking about the Crabbe Buck Rogers too.

These serials really are tremendous fun and I think you're really honoring one of the best ever here.

Great news! I do have a question... What does the Mini rocket look like for the 8 inch Flash? I'm trying to picture what all you get with this set.

Go Hero would have had brought you a beautiful Ming, if Day2Day hadn't turned out be gigantic crooks

But seriously, Steve Forde (Go Hero) is a great guy and has made this possible and we look forwrd to doing all kinds of work with him, including a Charles Middleton Ming the Merciless! We'll keep you guys aprised with pix of the progress on our blog and Facebook...

Bald or skullcap? how about both!

                    -Dave

No I know Steve is a good guy, he explained the whole thing to me via email months ago. I was just being sarcastic. I know how much he really wants to see it come to fruition, and I'm glad he'll finally see it happen.

                            Hmmm.... tough one
Ok it's about 2 inches long... so to the figure that would be 2 feet, and if the ship were say 30 inches long (for scale) it would be 1/15th scale to the Flash Gordon Figure... so to us at 30 feet long... I'd guess? 1/180th scale?...
