My childhood figures are also the most valuable toys in my collection. Out of them all, i would say that my G.I. Joe Adventure Team Man of Action is probably the one i cherish most.

Also since we're getting all sappy and junk, my Brick Mantooth / Super Collector ranks really, really high considering that it is the perfect embodiment of this place which I hold in remarkably high esteem. Plus to see Brians vision come to life in Mego form is simply awe inspiring. I really gush about that here: Brick Mantooth / Super Colleector: The first 8 inch action figure with heart. s Toy Box
Another that I would consider a close second in this respect would be Jay Piscapo's Commander X figures. The 1950's era version really makes me smile: “The Wall†Chapter 2: 1950’s Commander X from Nemo Publishing s Toy Box
What can I say? I'm a romantic. A dork romantic, sure but whatcha gonna do?Comment

For youth type toys there are a few. MEGO wise it would be my carded 1976 Batgirl I got from Dan. I just love that one.
I am also a huge fan of the MEGO Isis and have sweet carded type 1 and type 2 straight arm versions. It is just, in my opinion, one of the best looking MEGOs made.
My highest personal valued toy to me would be my Viewmaster Superfriends gift pack form 1976. Not only is it still in mint condition but it is the exact one my Mom and Dad bought me for Christmas. I have saved it for all these years and it means far more to me then it's true value.
A close second would be my Hotwheels Farb named Hy-Gear. I had one as a kid and it was my most favorite Hotwheels car. I played with it often. So I signed up to eBay in 2001 in hopes of finding another one. I placed a bid and lost in the final seconds to a sniper. I decided I knew nothing about eBay and bidding so I went to their bidding help board to learn. That is where I met my wife Maggy. So that little car has given me more happiness in my life then I could have ever expected. I'm not sure if I ever mentioned this but Maggy and I also got married right on the convention floor at the eBay Live convention in New Orleans in 2004. Meg Whitman is one of the witness signatures on our marriage license.
Finally, my most valuable "toys" are a few on my Kawasaki triples. While my 1972 and 1975 H2s are worth more dollar wise (approx $12-15,000 for the restored stock ones which I have 1 of each) my favorite and the last one I would sell is my 1974 model. Long story short I had my first triple at age 19. I wanted an H2 (750) but they were not easy to find around here even in 1984 so I settled for an H1 (500) instead. Fast forward to 2005 after I sold my last muscle car and decided they were getting too expensive for me to "play with" so I decided to return to my second love and finally get my H2. I only new them as the dark green model which turned out to be the 1974. I didn't even know how many years they were made (4) or that they made different colors and body styles (72-73 are quite different then the 74-75 models) I found one on eBay and was ready with my snipe. My max was $2550 and as the price started to rise it wasn't looking good for me. I made my snipe at the last second and won it for just over $2400. I was so happy as was Maggy as we were sitting on the bed with her laptop.
The seller had only 2 feedback and 1 picture of the bike. In exchanging questions with him I discovered that he was the second owner since 1976 and still had the stock pipes, air cleaner assembly, and rear grab bar which are all hard to find and costly items. He had sent me pictures of the stuff. I was going to restore it but after cleaning it up, reinstalling the stock parts, and having the side covers repainted I couldn't bring myself to do anything further. The bike is all original including the tires and has 8777 miles on it. I am a huge fan of survivors so this bike is my favorite for all the above reasons. I have since bought 8 more H2s and have 17 triples in total but this will always be my baby. Ironically had the owner done what I did to the bike I never would have been able to afford it as it would have sold for much more. A few of the same or just lesser quality have sold recently and now sell for around $7500 and up.

I can't decide on my Superman collectibles...many are even in terms of value...but the one that really stands out for me right now...is Sandy's World Finest Superman suits...both the nice/clean one...and the beat up/burnt one...
