Loose AHI Monsters: Price Increase?

Has anyone else noticed this? I have AHI Drac and a few others in my eBay saved searches and have noticed that as soon as a loose one appears, it gets a bid, even if the opening bid is $50 or so. I don't remember these being so "hot." What's the deal? Halloween approaching?

I've noticed carded AHI Monsters increasing in price as well, I don't think it's Halloween influencing their purchase but more of an overall increase in interest.

there is always a little bit of a surge in listings and sales around this time of year, as well.

I've noticed this as well. I'm just glad that I got mine when I did.

I think that is the norm. All figure lines go through periods of peaks and valleys when it comes to demand.
