Different numbers on 1973 MEGO BOXES 1301 AND 51301

Does anyone have any info on the box differences between the 1973 BATMAN mego boxes? I have one two 1973 BATMAN MEGO 3 panel boxes. One has 1301 and the other has 51301. I'm a new collector and have only the information found on this website to go on. Can anyone help?

Benjamin explained this in his wonderful book, but I believe this was simply done as Mego expanded their lines. New inventory 5-digit numbers were added for the new figures and a 5 was aded to existing 4-digit numbers.

If your interested in more, you can buy Benjamin's book by clicking on the Amazon link above (so the Museum gets some love) and buying Ben's book-

Someone told me to come here and find out how to buy Benjamin's book. How does one do this, please?

You can contact the author directly. He is selling them for $65 each.
