Mego of the (POTA) Week: POTA Bend N Flex

In keeping with Ape Week on the Mego Museum this week on Mego of the (POTA) Week we look at the Planet of the Apes Bend N’ Flex figures. We generally talk about the 8” figures and playsets weekly on the Museum, and with good reason. Killer sculpts and great playsets made for hours of fun growing up. But what about the other line the Apes were part of? I admit I have the WGSH Bend N’ Flex figures but do not own one Planet of the Apes bendy. And I really don’t know the reason why. I know from reading the gallery in the Mego Museum Zira is the hardest to find carded. I can only guess that’s because she is the lone female in the line. I’m sure I will eventually get them as they are just as cool as their WGSH counterparts. But in the mean time, who here collects the Bend N’ Flex Apes and why? i got the soldier ape in a lot of 8" apes and it is pretty cool but the last thing I need is to start collecting yet another line...LOL

What you are missing is the back of the card has an amazing drawing of all of the POTA characters.
