I think it depends who

Like IMO David Prowse autographing a figure's card is kind of ruining it .....

But, if James Earl Jones signed that same card, his sig would probably make it worth more.

Personally, I wouldn't want any toys signed.

It can.... but in this case, considering how common Spock and Kirk are, it might not.

I've gotten some Mego figures signed but I get them personalized too, so they're really not worth much after.
