    Wizard of Oz Update

We have a new gallery addition to the Wizard of Oz Galleries thanks to the contributions of Mike "Mikeoz" Lopategui who contributed not only the great photos but the text as well to create the new Mego Munchkinlandpage. Come check out this very Mego play set.
The Megomuseum is always open to contributions, so if you anything you'd like to add to our galleries, drop us a line!

Nice update Mike. Great write-up and photos. I think the Oz line was one of Megos best. Can't wait till we get Oz trading cards

I have a Scarecrow with a brown vinyl belt with a yellow plastic belt buckle instead of string. I've had him over 20 years, well before customs. He was tied in his box. He was the first non-WGSH Mego I bought as an adult. Has anyone ever seem one like this? I'll try to get a pic of it tonight.

Hey, that's neat. I didn't even know there were stuffies or other playsets besides Emerald City. Nice gallery!

I've always wondered about this playset, since all I've ever seen was the box front. It's a neat concept, very well-executed for its time, and pure Mego.

              Thanks Mike for sharing!

I think that the Wizard of Oz series from Mego is one of my favourites. I don't own any, as I am a poor University student, but I do have the Barbie Mattel Munchkins displayed at my apartment...

Didn't know this playset existed. Is this rare cause I've never seen one on eBay before
