I think there was a TV version of this with slow, sad shots of each hero and a Sarah McLachlan song in the background.

I think it's funny that they'd group Isis w/ the Teen Titans.

Heroes World (which is what the "Superhero Shops" in this ad would renamed) was a mandatory stop when I'd visit my friend in Livingston in the 80's. Every trip featured HW, Roy Rogers for lunch, and playing games at the "Time Out" Arcade in the mall. I actually still made trips there for fun/nostalgia but everything faded away, HW first, the arcade around 2005 and the Roy's in 2009 I believe.

I would love too. Are these prices still valid?

I have a similiar mall story, eventually I just ended up going to the cafeteria style restaurant where I spent my fifth birthday. The toy store went away in 1990 and the restaurant in 2003, it still makes me sad.

Notice how the ad incorrectly labels the Titans as 8 inches. Ah but the good ole days!

There's this weird man in a bow tie who says he'll take me to 1976. Keeps rambling on how "bow ties are cool".

You're lucky. I got this talking dog with a "pet" boy and some sort of "Wayback Machine."

You guys have it easy on the time travel stuff. I only found some pointy-eared guy who is calculating a slingshot around the sun in his starship.
                              It's all good!
