AcroRay looks at the two faces of PHOBOS

Today, over at my sadly less-than-active Micronauts blog, I take a look at the Micronaut giant robot PHOBOS, including a peek at some rare Mego marketing material for the toy and a prototype image:

I hope to be more active with my blog...

That is fascinating stuff. I seem to recall phobos in the micronauts comics... He was definitely on karza's side there wasn't he? (my memory is only vague)

I do like that they left it up to your imagination to take advantage of the building toy aspect.

Phobos was an 'enemy unit' in both the Marvel comic and the second volume of the Devil's Due/Image comic. However, I consider the comic continuity rather distinctly different than the toys' continuity. Particularly since Mego exercised very little - if any - oversight on Marvel's work under their agreements beyond cashing the royalty checks Marvel sent them.
