Who's going to Comic-Con? Roll call.

Pass...I'm done with the "Experience" comic shows like San Diego. Usually just newer eye candy then vintage. Baltimore is the show to go to if you're on the East Coast and want to go to an ACTUAL COMIC SHOW. NYC show is way to expensive for one day ($40...REALLY??) Not to mention that they have absolutely no one that get's me excited about attending the show...3/4 of the artists and writers I've never heard of. Also, Baltimore is affordable...$20 for Saturday and $15 for Sunday. Here's a list so far of the writers and artists attending this year:

Having never been I have no idea how it even runs. If its that much of a hassle, then I guess I'll do without.

From what I've read, the preorder was announced and sold out quicker than people could join for $60 and wound up losing the $60. Plus that puts the price of the figure up around $150 after shipping. I could just get one on ebay for that. I guess I'll just live with the regular cloth one when they become available.

I, for one, would love to go, not only for the total geekgasm it is, but also to see San Diego; unfortunately, it's not currently within my financial reach. I am trying to convince MIB41 to go to the WizardWorld Con in Chicago in August...

i want to go but i am not sure if i can. my husband promised he could drive me down so he could hang out with the kids at legoland but now he doesn't want to do this. so i may end up purchasing a flight out there but then i'm scared cause i've never been alone by myself at night. and the whole family is against me going. i'm getting a headache thinking about it. guess i will just go to bed early. i'm too upset for the tears to fall.
