I think one last year with a poorer box sold for 10+ quid.

thanks alex but i would guess it be worth more than a tenner .... and if the other had a poorer box then its not really helped me on a realistic price ..but thanks for the reply

The Palitoy boxed version is fairly rare. You don't see many pop up. You have to weigh this against the fact that the smaller POTA playsets (Wagon, Throne, Jail, etc.) aren't hugely popular, so it would definitely depend on who was looking when it was listed. If I had it at a toy show and had to put a price tag on it, I would say $100. Again, don't know if you would get that, and I only have it that high due to it being the rarer Palitoy box. The toy itself would probably be worth around $15. The box gives it the value, but only if you find the right buyer.

megoapesnut thanks for the extra help there...yes as in most cases the box makes a difference... if i saw the loose toy itself i dont think id even think about buying it.. i do love to see the packageing..and like you say its the question of whos looking at the time wanting to buy one and if it be this particular version....maybe not a mego collector but a planet of ape collector would find it more desirable..
