Arghhh!!! Mego dreams!

Had a dream last night that I was at a Bob Evan's restaurant of all places. While meandering my way through the junky merchandise at the front of the store I discovered a random white shoe box with a $70 price tag. I started looking through it, only to discover that it was full of WGSH megos and accessories!

The more I sifted through it, the more gems I found! I remember finding a RC Batman, minus the cowl and frantically but joyfully digging to see if the cowl was in there.

I purchased the box and walked outside and in the planters, I found a boxed joker, and a bunch of Mego heads, (I distinctly remember picking up a really clean Green Goblin head)

All the while in the back of my mind I was thinking to myself, "This better not be a dream!"

I woke up, bummed of course.

mine is always the walking into an old style Toys r us.... finding Megos, and Star wars stuff packed to the ceiling like they used to, then POOF! those damned time machine dreams!!!!

For me it is Lionel Playworld....and all the rows are full of fresh minty Megos on the pegs!

In the 90's, I use to have this reoccurring dream where I would be in Roses Department Store holding a spanking brand new Mego Green Arrow in my hands. I had held onto my original Green Arrow, but had lost his hat, bow, and quiver. When I got them restored, the dreams subsided. It was a fine day when I was able to reenact that dream.

Awesome dream Tim. You must have Mego Meet seriously on your mind. That would explain all of the cools toys that you found in your dream.

Mine was about unearthing a huge fat old fashioned refrigerator out of the dump.
I forced opened the door handle. I peeked in.. alas to my surprise there was many vintage adventure GI Joes and Megos along with play sets and accessories crammed all the way up from top to bottom in plastic bags. I had no car with me and I hid it back where it was before and guess what.. A new motorway was build on top of the dump when I came back. It was like a nasty Ali Baba's cave that I could not access. I could not locate it. I woke up and told to myself what a weird and lovely dream but not so nice at the end

Years ago, I had a dream that I was ravenously hungry with nothing in my apartment to eat. I scoured the cupboards to find a single cereal box, whose contents I quickly consumed. In slow-mo horror style, I began to realize I was eating not cereal, but a bowl full of action figures. Paging Dr. Freud!!

Funny.. I had one a few months ago, in this dusty, dark, old abandoned stockroom up these old, wooden stairs.

Shelves and SHELVES of boxed vintage GI Joes, vehicles, uniforms, Captain Action, Mego, you name it.

No checkout clerk, just a few dangling light bulbs like in someone's attic, but an entire department store floor.

Everything was pretty much there for the taking..!!!

I've dreamed a couple times about going to my paternal grandparents' house and going through the box of toys they kept in the closet for us, and finding not only some of my old Megos and Duncan Batmobile but stuff I don't think I ever had like AHI figures. The sad truth is, all that stuff is long gone.

I use to have one about going to a flea market and running across a kid who was selling his box of Megos. None of the dealers would buy it,so I'd feel sorry for the kid and buy it from him.

Ahhh yes the flea market dream. Had that dream many times. Just sub in what toy i went to bed thinking about and then i would find a massive amount. Mostly Star Wars toys.
