Just packed up all my 8" friends in preparation for a move to Washington (state, not DC). Hopefully I can put them up in a nicer display once we've settled in.

I feel your pain. The owner of the place we're renting decided to sell, so we're out in 60 days. I'm not looking forward to it.

Positive side? New & bigger place, with more space to display the toys!

Yeah, I know what you mean. We moved into this house almost 5 years ago, and since my mom was disabled and in a wheelchair at the time, (she has since died), I had to do all the moving in myself. I had to take 3 weeks off work just to get the place liveable.

I'll more than likely be moving some time down the road. Alabama is cool and all but with an uncle with MS and another with Parkinson's,I'd rather be in NY closer to them.
